Congratulations to the Hermitage High School Bands, Marching Panthers, Indoor Guard, and Orchestra.  This past weekend they participated in the Myrtle Beach Music Festival against groups from, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Delaware and Virginia, where they received the following awards:

The Hermitage High School Bands have achieved the designation of A Virginia Honor Band for the 25th time.  This milstone places them third all time in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  The Honor Band designation is presented to schools that receive a Superior Rating at both the State Marching Assessment in October and the District Concert Assessment in March.  JOB WELL DONE!

The Hermitage High School Received Straight Superior Ratings at the District 1 Concert Band Assessment.  The students had an Outstanding performance and I am very proud of each of them.
